dragonboat training

when dawn tay from east west community called me a month ago about the
community challenge, i was very excited about it.
we decided to take part in the dragon boat challenge as it's the most
value for money, as it cost $500 per team of 12, much
better than sending teams of badminton or table tennis where only
a smaller number of people can participate.

today's our first training, nice weather, nice sun.
roystern's our instructor.
everything went well and smooth. for first timers
like us, i supposed we've done pretty well.
roystern was very patient and encouraging. and the
thing is, he coached us for free! all for the word: PASSION
oh well, kinda paiseh actually, gotta repay him with something.
let me think about it...

one more month to the competition, really hope we can perform well on that day.
here's the team make up:
1) xiaohui (team captain)
2) fiona
3) michelle
4) naomi
5) jace
6) ivonne
7) juven
8) brandon
9) christopher
10) sebastian (he fell sick and couldn't make it for our first practice)
11) yours truly

better performance next sat guys!
